Inside the home of Jaime Wright

2012 saw me introduced to globe trotting shoe queen and yummy mummy Jaime Wright; an ex model and TV personality now designing shoes for renowned Australian fashion label Camilla. Wright had a particular design aesthetic that she wanted to pursue, so we put our designer heads together on the family's three bedroom semi in Bondi Junction.
The overall objective was to upgrade the interior and make the spaces better suited to the family's daily needs, without over capitalizing.
The home underwent some serious spatial reshuffling, and after a multitude of planning concepts led to the creation of a new master bedroom, larger main bathroom and open plan kitchen/ living/ dining space with bifold’s onto the huge north facing garden.
Between the family's trips to Bali and Adelaide, we pulled together a glam, bold scheme including calacutta marble benchtops, black japan floors, Tiffany blue trim and bevelled bronze back mirror tiles - much to the tiler's delight who nearly went cross eyed trying to install them.
Construction was staged which allowed the family to live in the house while the renovations were being carried out, something that has both its upsides and downsides, but after a few months the dust was over and their gorgeous new home was complete as pictured.
A huge thank you to John & Jaime for being incredibe, patient and always positive clients to work with, their big blue eyed boy for all his smiles at site meetings! And of course Giselle, the exclusive but hairy model on the sofa making our photoshoot extra fabulous.
